FRIDAY UPDATE (12PM): You seriously can’t make this stuff up… 😩

We got the new AC back to the shop, opened the box… and it’s badly damaged. 💔

So we’re turning around and heading back to Lowe’s (again 🤦‍♀️) to hopefully exchange it for one that isn’t damaged.

Thank you for sticking with us through this wild ride. We’ll keep you posted and are still hoping to get back open as soon as we can today ❤️🍧

This week has been one for the books. Thanks to everyone who’s checked on us, shared our posts, offered advice, and reached out. We truly felt the love. ❤️

Hopefully this is the last plot twist for a while. New AC is being installed first thing in the morning Friday🤞❄️

12:50 PM Update ❤️ Wow… thank you all so much. We are truly feeling the love today.

For now, Chuck’s will remain CLOSED today (Thursday) while we get everything back up and running.

The comments, messages, recommendations, and shares have been incredible. We can’t thank this community enough for rallying around our little family business.

The good news is that Lowe’s has one unit comparable to the one we need, and we’re heading there now to pick it up. 🤞 Our hope is to have it installed this evening.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed and are hopeful we’ll be able to reopen tomorrow (Friday) and get back to serving your favorite Italian ice, Gelati, ice cream, and milkshakes.

Thank you again for the overwhelming support. It means more to our family than you’ll ever know. ❤️

🆘 Chuck’s Family Needs a Little Help! 🆘

Our shop’s 24,000 BTU window/wall A/C unit decided yesterday was the day to stop cooling. Still runs and blows air but it’s not cold 😩

We’re looking for any leads:
✅ Someone who repairs large wall A/C units
✅ A working 24,000 BTU wall unit for sale that is no larger than 18inches tall (since that’s the size of the wall cage)
✅ A local store that actually has one in stock for pickup (everywhere shows Tuesday delivery but that’s insane and we are willing to drive anywhere within 2hrs of Orlando)

If you know someone or can point us in the right direction, we’d be so grateful. Please comment below or send us a message.

Well… this wasn’t the plan for today, Wednesday 7/22

Our A/C has decided to call it a day, so we’ll be closing early at 5:30 PM today while we try and get it repaired.

We’re SO sorry for the inconvenience, especially on a hot Florida day. Thank you for understanding and supporting our little family business while we work through the unexpected.
