Due to overwhelming support from you all we are nearly out of all our product. We do appreciate you all!!
I will do what’s left for donuts on Friday. Trying to fill all pre-orders.
Once donuts are gone I will have to close shop. I will not be open Saturday. I am so sorry for any inconvenience. Again I do so appreciate you all!!!

It is with a broken heart and much sadness that I have to tell you all that I have been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The bakery will be closed after this Saturday. March 5th will be my last day. I am planning on selling the building eventually. So sorry for this news. I love my bakery and I love Chisholm and all of it’s fine people!
You all have been very good to me!

Hi, this is Iona the donut lady. Just want to let you all know the bakery will be Closed Thurs. Fri. & Sat. This week. Going through some health issues, doc appts. Etc. ( not Covid).
Desperately need a few days rest. See you all next week Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed. I HOPE!!!

I am very sorry to say that my daughter/employee has come down with the Flu/Covid. She will have to quarantine for 10 days, which brings me up to Thanksgiving!! My other employee quit. I had a new person to start next week, but will have to wait till after Thanksgiving.
The Black Bear Bakery will be closed till November 26th. Sorry for any inconvenience!!
