This is not the post I wanted to make but feel I need to.

When I purchased and began the journey to renovate the building, I was hoping it would be a place where the community might gather for morning conversation have a cup of coffee maybe a baked good then wander through the hallway and pick up fresh produce and locally made and/or MI made products.
Many things have changed since I started this journey; my family, my career and quite frankly the world and how people spend their time and energy.
The time I can spend working at the store(s) and taking care of family is spread very thin. My energy is all but gone I need to regroup, refocus and figure out the best path forward for my family and myself.
I will be closing The Morning Mug for the season at the end of September. Next weekend (Sept 25-27) will be the last weekend we’ll be open.
Hope to see you in the Spring.
