Good Morning Everyone,

I'm back. We had a wonderful adventure over the last few weeks. Trying to settle back into normal life is always a struggle.
I forced myself back into the thick of things by taking 3 cake orders for when I returned home. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I thought ahead and baked & froze 2 of the cakes before I left. 👍🏻
The third was a last minute order .
But I persevered. And they all turned out amazing!
Well I think so anyway 😉

1st was a strawberry cake with signature buttercream and
silk flowers. A 4 year anniversary cake
(Congrats Kendra & Karl 😘)
The 2nd. Was Chocolate with dark gray signature buttercream covered in fondant 6's & 7's for Zayn's 7th Birthday.
The last, but definitely not least. Is Chucky!
Vanilla cake, signature buttercream with gashes stitched up with jimmies.
Bloody drip & black borders.
Topped with a cardstock topper.

Hi There!

Even though it may not feel like it yet, spring officially arrived back on March 20th — crazy, right?

Hopefully the weather will start living up to the season soon!

In the meantime, I have a little update: I’ll be taking a short break and will not be accepting any orders from now through May 17th.

Bob and I are heading to the Tulip Festival in Holland, catching up with a friend in Den Haag, and spending some days in Belgium with Dave, Val, and Sam. I’m so excited! It’s only a short trip.Barely over 2 weeks. But knowing Bob, it’ll be jam packed. I'm getting tired already 😂

When I return, I’ll be launching *Bakery Box Subscriptions*!
To start, I’ll be offering just three boxes per week as I work out the details.

Thank you all so much for your continued support — it truly means the world to me. 💜

Hello there!

It's been awhile. Precisely 243 days.
Or at least that's what Facebook is telling me. 😉

How have you been? Good I hope.
Me? Been working through stuff, but still upright, so I consider it a win 😊

I seriously considered closing the bakery, 25 years of baking is a pretty good run, right? After pondering & reflecting. I've decided to not close.
I'll still do cakes,
But I want to do some different things.

I would like to add bread products to the menu.
I am working on getting away from processed foods by making my own with Italian soft wheat flour.
From Italy so not any of the bad chemicals or ultra processed enriched flour we get here. 😊

I have been making;
Focaccia bread, Focaccia rolls, naan, tortillas, dinner rolls, pizza crusts, flatbread, bagels, hamburger & hotdog buns.
I will definitely try new stuff too!

I'm still working on prices. They will definitely cost more than store bought processed, but I'm not going for a huge profit here. I want to be able to provide healthy REAL food.

I was thinking of doing a weekly subscription box. With a few treats added. Cookies, muffins, cakes or brownies 😉 gotta feed the soul too!

I know way back, I mentioned doing Keto, which just wasn't plausible.
I have passion for this unprocessed real food movement. Healing with real food.

Would any of you be interested?

Hello Darling People,

I'm Back!
I had the most wonderful time in Belgium.
Coming back to the"Real World" and the 7 time zone difference was rough!
The Wedding was extraordinary. One I will never forget.
From the Stunning Bride & her Handsome Groom 🥹
The decor, flowers and Venue were breathtaking.
I fully took advantage of the food and sampled everything!
The Menu was incredible.
No, I didn't make the wedding cake.
But Madame Spoons did an amazing job hand painting all the wedding flowers on the 4 tiered masterpiece. Which tasted as good as it looked.
It was a fairytale day & night.
The Bride & Groom put so much time & energy into giving us an awesome experience.
I honestly don't think it could have been any more perfect.🥲

Hey there! Just a quick update -

I've been busy getting everything sorted before I head to Belgium for a wedding! 🎉 My June schedule is full, I won't be taking any more orders.
I'm super excited for the trip. I'll be leaving on June 20th and returning on July 1st.
Orders will resume for the second week of July.

I was given creative freedom, so of course there had to be purples!
The purples with the yellow gives off pansy vibes. Am I right?

Good Morning fine people.💜
I'm back, kinda sorta 😉
I am feeling much better, but I still
tire very easily.
It was a very difficult decision, but instead of closing the bakery. I've decided to scale back to one order per weekend.
I will prioritize and make exceptions for my loyal repeat customers.
This change will help me cope with the current economic challenges and prioritize my well-being.
I appreciate your understanding and support.

Update: Temporarily closed

Due to ongoing health issues related to my autoimmune disease, I've made the difficult decision to temporarily close the bakery. This will allow me to focus on my recovery and ensure I can continue baking with the same passion and quality you deserve.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. I'm grateful for your loyalty and look forward to reopening when I'm fully recovered.
