If approved by the county commission, a referendum will allow voters to decide if the county should raise its tourist development tax.

The proposed increase is from 3% to 5%, the maximum rate under Florida statute.

Our RAISE THE DOUGH: Summer Sweets Auction is happening on Thursday, August 6th!

And we can't wait to see what sweet surprises this year's auction has in store!

Now's the time to start thinking about those desserts everyone asks you to bring. You know the one... the cake that's gone before everyone gets a slice, the pie that never makes it home, or the bread pudding your family (and half the neighborhood!) requests every holiday.
