The River House is a large home located in Chimney Rock, NC (within walking distance of Chimney Rock Village, NC, the Chimney Rock State Park entrance, and beautiful Lake Lure, NC, where Dirty Dancing was filmed.) We are located on Main Street in the village of Chimney Rock and our home sits on the Rocky Broad River. We have 4 decks overlooking the river and plenty of seating for a large group to
dine/grill outside overlooking the Rocky Broad River. The River House can host large groups/families of up to 18 people (children/babies, seniors, and all age groups are welcome!) with lots of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the Rocky Broad River (you can swim and fish in the river right behind the house and there are plenty of big rocks to play on and/or lay out in the sun!) and all the fun activities nearby (ziplining, horseback riding, rock climbing, and hiking in Chimney Rock State Park, just to name a few of the activities). The River House is available to be rented out by a group/family and closed to the public when the whole house is rented. We keep the VRBO calender updated constantly so if the date shows available on this calender, it is available for your group to rent the whole house.
