Hello!
We are moving forward, slightly slower than I’d like, but forward progress is good progress!
Big thanks to Curtis Lacy and Tyler Matheson for working so hard on the cafe with me (and sometimes without me)!
Look for exterior changes soon. Once I get the new sign, the old metro bagel signs can come down.
We’re waiting on some equipment repairs, big thanks to Fredrick’s electric.

Ok, as for the missing fridge, I only posted that it was taken because I assume someone took it thinking it was “for the taking.” I’m going to continue to believe that. I didn’t post to complain or to say it was stolen, it was simply taken by mistake and I thought the person might see the post. I love our town and community and have nothing negative to say.
So, let’s stay excited and positive about the cafe.

We are getting closer on the inside, not quite photo ready but very close. Pictures to come soon.

Welp. That's a wrap.

Thank you for the 10 years of business. Thank you to so many who have helped along the way.

I wished I had more words but, this has been a rather hard journey the last few years and I wished it didn't end this way. Alas...

Keep your eyes peeled on this page for an update. Exciting things to come. A community member will be taking what we have offered and combine it with another local business in the days/months to come and reopen with their own flair in a new location as well as other wonderful offerings.

Ugh I hate reposting this and re-traumatize many of you but somehow my entire update post disappeared and Facebook can't recover it. So here goes..***REPOST***

Such a heavy heart. Some may have heard the rumors and sadly they are true.

Farm's Reach Cafe will be closing permanently at the end of February 2024. This is so hard on my heart. We have owned the Cafe almost 10 years (10th anniversary would be May 1st 2024). Almost two years ago we took other job opportunities to financially keep afloat and when we thought we had sold the business the first time.

After two failed attempts at selling due to the building/property on the market and landlord refusing to offer a lease beyond month to month we have been stuck between a rock and a hard place. Both failed sales cost us a lot of money and we financially can not keep this place going. We are majorly in the hole at this time trying to survive post covid and do not have the means to continue.

We will have to find some way to cover the $50k of debt we have incrued over the past 3 years in our attempts to keep the place alive and sell-able. We hope the community continues to support us until the end so we can pay off some bills.

Myself, Ari will return to working in person in January and I would love to see all of our lovely community faces, in person to say goodbye.

Last day of business will be February 29, 2024. Afterwards I will be working diligently to prepare for a community liquidation of all physical assets - again to try and take down the debts. If anyone is interested in restaurant equipment I'd be happy to talk privately before we open to community liquidation sale.
