Unfortunately, we will be closing early this evening, Sunday July 5th, so our cook can nurse an ankle injury. Please send well-wishes so that that may return tomorrow to finish out or weekend of elk burgers. We have just a few left for tomorrow! We'll be open Monday 8am to 7pm, elk burgers start at 2pm. Continuing to source local ingredients for the cafe; today we baked a batch of buttermilk biscuits with locally-grown, organic pastry flour from Chimacum Valley Grainery. Rich with flavor and texture, you can catch them on the breakfast menu topped with meat or vegetarian gravy or on their own with a side of butter and jam.

Updates: Our evening cook is away at a wedding this weekend, so we'll be closing at 2pm Friday through Monday. Plan accordingly and bring your dad in for breakfast or lunch! We'll be back to our regular schedule next week. Also, we been working on a gluten-free pie crust and we're ready to sample some. We currently have strawberry-rhubarb for your enjoyment!

We had a lot of positive feedback for our Mothers' Day Special, so we're running it again today through Monday, 2pm to 7pm. Picanha steak with chimichurri sauce, organic asparagus and zucchini, choice of baked potato or mashed potato. Start with a side salad, end with a scoop of ice cream. We just got in chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream and it's going fast! $23.99.
