🗞️ COUNTY PRESS UPDATE

Chick-fil-A Rumors in Chillicothe What’s Actually Known

There has been a lot of talk online recently claiming that a Chick-fil-A location is coming to Chillicothe, Ohio, specifically being mentioned near the Lowe’s area beside Frisch’s.

This post has been widely shared on Facebook, and many users in the comments are debating whether it’s real or just another fake announcement.

📌 What we know so far:

* Chick-fil-A has confirmed major expansion plans across Ohio, with 25–30 new restaurants expected statewide by 2027
* The company regularly opens new locations based on population growth, traffic patterns, and franchise approvals
* However, no official press release or verified site confirmation has been issued specifically for Chillicothe

⚠️ About the viral post:

* The image circulating does not appear to come from an official Chick-fil-A announcement
* Similar rumors have spread in other Ohio towns before actual confirmations were made
* At this time, it should be treated as unconfirmed

💬 What people are saying:

In the comments, opinions are split:

* Some say it’s “already confirmed” or “definitely happening soon”
* Others say it’s fake and just another recycled rumor
* A few are pointing out there is no official city or company documentation yet

🧾 Bottom line:

Until Chick-fil-A or the city of Chillicothe releases an official statement, this remains a rumor—not a confirmed project.

We’ll update if any verified information is released.
