🌟 A little Stars Hollow magic is happening today in downtown Chillicothe. 🌟

In honor of everyone’s favorite burger-loving Gilmore, we’ve created the Lorelai — a cheeseburger pazarotti (deep-fried calzone), served with fries and house 1000 Island for dipping. 🍔 This combines her love for cheeseburgers and Joe’s passion for making everything over the top 😂 ✨

Today only and while supplies last!

Come hungry, Stars Hollow! 💫

Our September specialty pizza has received some rave reviews! The Chicken Vodka Pesto Detroit Pizza will run out tonight, so come early, as we can only produce a limited quantity of Detroit pizzas each day.

We’re also restocked on house carrot cake and tiramisu and have a small batch of crème brûlée.

See you real’ soon!

September speciality pizza is live!

Now, through the end of September we are featuring our Chicken Vodka Pesto Detroit Pizza, available as a 4SQ or 8SQ.

A regular, crispy, cheesy Detroit pizza, plus, chicken, finished with pesto drizzle and Vodka sauce. We do run out of Detroits daily (despite making extra) so order early to not risk missing out.

We look forward to seeing you!

FYI…most people can only eat 2 slices, it’s quite filling!

My husband walked in earlier, looked at me, and said,

“I just spent $1,400 on cheese.”

In normal context this would be very alarming 😂

But all I could think was… good.

The “good” wasn’t the cheese — it was the reminder of how far we’ve come. We used to run so tight that unexpected expenses felt heavy. Now, because of your support, we’re steady. We have breathing room.

And that stability means we can finally invest forward — so we’re buying a bigger oven to pour right back into what you’ve helped us build. More capacity, better consistency, and the ability to serve more of you, faster and better. 🤜🤛

We’re going over 7,000 followers today 🤯 That is so wild to us! We couldn’t be more grateful for each time you choose us to host your meal and family ❤️

A small heads up for tonight…we will have online orders turned off and a heavy waitlist during our peak dinner hours due to the increased demand.

Pro Tip #1: Please consider visiting Tipplers or Old Capital Brewing while you wait (bring your DORA cup to Lievita), and we’ll text you when your table is ready, for a full Saturday night downtown experience.

Pro Tip #2: As the pizza oven completely fills, wait times get longer for our beloved pizza. Order some additional apps or pastas as a shareable app while you wait.

These longer quotes will ensure we’re treating every single order and interaction up to our standards. We would rather over deliver than under deliver 😊 and we greatly appreciate your grace and patience while we grow our staff. What a wonderful day to be part of a thriving business and team!

✨ LIEVITA IS HIRING — OUR TEAM IS GROWING! ✨

We’re looking for excellence‑driven people who care about our mission:

scratch‑made, wholesome food served with genuine hospitality.

If that sounds like you (or someone you know), keep reading — we have multiple positions open!

👋 HOST / EXPO
• One daytime lunch position
• One evening position (must be available Fridays by 4 PM)

This role is perfect for someone who naturally smiles, loves making people feel welcome, and finds joy in creating great experiences.
Do you enjoy hosting dinners? Greeting new faces? Maybe you’re retired and want to stay active in a warm community?
You’ll thrive here.

🔥 COOKS — PIZZA & LINE COOKS
Our pizza is becoming pretty famous… and we need more hands on deck!

We’re hiring:
• Pizza cooks
• Line cooks
• Cross‑training in both will get more hours + more pay

You don’t need a ton of cooking experience — if you bring a great attitude, enjoy teamwork, and care about good food made the right way, we’ll teach you the rest.
Skills can be taught quickly… integrity takes decades, and that’s what we value most.

💧 DISHWASHER — ENTRY LEVEL, PATH TO ADVANCE

No kitchen experience? No problem.

Dishwashing is an excellent opportunity to show your work ethic and grow into our kitchen team. You’ll learn light prep during downtime (not much lately 😂) and pick up useful kitchen skills along the way.

📍 HOW TO APPLY
Stop in between 2–5 PM (our slower window), meet a team member, and bring a resume or fill out an application.

We’ve actually had multiple customers become employees (maybe for the discount… 😉), and it’s awesome because they already love what we’re doing.

💬 PLEASE SHARE!
Sharing helps us find people who care about community, hospitality, and wholesome food. You might know the perfect fit — or you might BE the perfect fit.

We can’t wait to meet you. ❤️

In a world of rush, we choose the pause. 🤍🇮🇹

Taking a beautiful weekend to slow down, disconnect from the kitchen timers, and immerse our four kids in the vibrant traditions of Cleveland’s Feast of the Assumption.

To us, being part of an Italian food legacy isn’t just about the recipes—it’s about a deeply rooted philosophy. It’s the belief that family comes first, that we must treat others with profound care, and that we should always leave a place, or a person, better than we found them.

When my husband and I founded Lievita, we made a promise to honor that mission through every single ingredient we source.

Truthfully? We could run much lower food costs. We could use cheaper, processed ingredients that would "crush it" on paper. We could design our dining room to flip tables with high-speed efficiency.

But it wouldn’t fit our soul.

Changing the food system and providing clean, slow-fermented, uncompromised food brings us joy because we know it makes the world better long-term. We don’t want to be another fast-food stop. In a world that demands constant rush, we want Lievita to be your pause—a reflection of thoughtful intention, good health, and precious time spent with those you love.

From our family to yours, enjoy the weekend, slow down, and hold your loved ones close. And if your travels ever bring you down to Chillicothe, our family table is always open for you. 🍕✨

Keeping it real for a moment: two weeks ago, a standard repair job won the battle, and my back completely gave out on me. Leaving your team unexpectedly is always hard, but our BOH crew proved exactly why they are the best. They stepped up, took the reins, and made sure every single guest left smiling. I couldn't get the whole crew to stand still for a photo, so here is a quick shot of a test kitchen pizza instead—since they are out there serving up perfection every day. To the entire BOH team: thank you for saving the day (and my sanity). You all rock! 🍕🏆 #🍕🏆
