The last few days at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church have been an experience we’ll never forget. We’ve been humbled by the harrowing stories shared by so many evacuees and honored to serve through the donations given by all of you. We’re taking the day off today to clear our lungs and will be back at it tomorrow, serving dinner to 1,200 kids from Paradise with a number of other food trucks in the Pleasant Valley High School parking lot. We’ll be serving at East Avenue Church on Wednesday, and will continue to update all of you from there forward.

The outpouring of support from all of you has been beyond humbling over the past few days. The smiles on faces of evacuees like this little boy at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church during lunch today have made this experience so rewarding for each of us on the Mayhem Grilled Cheese Truck, and we have all of you to thank for making it possible.

We just finished serving an early dinner at Walmart, and we’re heading back to serve another 300 FREE hot meals at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church for dinner.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you wonderful friends and family that are supporting this cause, and helping us bring hot meals to the folks who need it most. We posted up at Walmart last night to feed evacuees who weren’t able to stay at a shelter due to their being over capacity. Today, we have 500 meals planned at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at 12:00pm and 6:00pm. We are currently coordinating with a number of other shelters to bring hot meals to them today as well! We’ll keep you updated as things develop!

Mayhem! Gourmet Grilled Cheese and Upgraded Living Magazine are teaming up to feed those evacuated from their homes due to the Butte County Camp Fire. We'll all be on the Mayhem! Gourmet Grilled Cheese Food Truck serving FREE meals to evacuees at shelters throughout the community starting today, Saturday, November 9th, and plan to continue doing so until their is no further need or until we're financially unable to continue doing so—whichever comes first.

We could use your help! Each and every donation matters, and the more we can raise, the more people we can feed. Each and every dollar raised will go directly to buying food for the victims of this terrible fire. Everyone on the truck is volunteering their time and resources to make this possible, and your donation makes a delicious hot meal available for those currently most in need.

We estimate that each meal will cost $2 so please donate on gofundme accordingly.

$10 = 5 meals
$50 = 25 meals
$100 = 50 meals
$500 = 250 meals
$1000 = 500 meals
$2000 = 1,000 meals

And so on.

There are over 20,000 people currently evacuated from their homes, many of which will not have homes to return to. Help us help them.

Mayhem! Grilled Cheese Truck
Will be out later today feeding evacuees of the . We are getting our people together to do our small part!! We have enough stuff to get started but we will need donations! We will be offering free grilled cheese and soup to those in need. We will graciously except all donations and are calling on the Mayhem! Nation to help us out with anything they can. Things like bread, cheese, butter, chips, snacks and water are needed. If there was ever a time to come together to help and give back to the community this would be the time. It is the least we can do for our amazing community that we love. We will keep cooking and feeding as long as we can and have the supplies to do so.
