Hey everyone! BellySutra is having their yearly Halloween Belly Dance Class tomorrow (10/28)
Class starts at 6pm ($8 Drop-In Fee) and there will be yummy Halloween treats - a fun Ghostbusters combo - and of course costumes are welcome but not required!!

This weekend brunch specials -- in honor of our earthly and heavenly fathers! -- Castrolville Quesadilla Plate (artichokes, mushrooms, swiss cheese and pesto quesadilla with 1 egg any style; our homemade fugassa or challah bread; and homestyle potatoes......and Belgium Waffles with nectarine, apricot and peach puree (all market fruit!), Chantilly cream & toasted almonds. Along with our delicious regular brunch fare, posted on our page. Come on down y'all!

As I wrote before, with Cafe Flo's (sad) closing, the fantastic music showcase (and open mic) the cafe had on Tuesdays has found its way to the Monkey -- Tuesdays at 7 pm. -- and its grrreeeaaat!! Has become our music "family" here and weekly new folks pop in to give their gifts. Wanna play, sing a song, whistle, try the new tub bass our Chef Nancy made for me? Come on down!!

Monkey Friends! If you haven't done so, check out yesterday's msg. linking to the ER article about the conversion of our cafe to a Pay-As-You-Can (gift economy principle) Cafe. It has prompted many calls today with offers to help make this happen. (I KNOW it will!) and the Action News team came in today to do a tv interview which will air tonight on their 6 pm news. If anyone knows how to record and transfer tv spots to the internet, please do! I would imagine Action News has online features as well, yes? Any help given is a blessing! Jill

We've added Belgium Waffles and Sweet Crepes to our Brunch!

Come down Saturday and Sunday between 9am - 1pm to try some of our delicious fluffy waffles with strawberry rhurbarb sauce or Bananas Foster & Nutella Creme Crepes Along with all our other yummy breakfast options!
