BUILDING LILI’S 🇧🇷 — It takes a community ❤️💪🏽

Moving an entire restaurant is NO joke! 😂📦🚚 And this chapter reminded me again that Lili’s is not being built by me alone — there are so many wonderful people helping behind the scenes.

A very special THANK YOU to Jesse and JM Services. ❤️💪🏽 Jesse has been one of the strongest and most helpful parts of this project. After we moved everything we needed into our new home, he helped me tackle the not-so-glamorous part — clearing out, hauling and taking to the dump everything we no longer needed. Jesse, THANK YOU for your hard work, patience and muscle! 😂💪🏽🙏🏽❤️

And a HUGE thank-you to Penske! 🚚❤️ Renting a commercial truck with a lift was surprisingly easy, incredibly helpful and very affordable. And an extra-special thank-you to Shawn, who coordinated everything and even arranged to bring the truck from Sacramento to Chico for us! 🥹🙏🏽 That made this move so much easier.

And because apparently I can make friends anywhere 😂, we even met the crew from Butte Strong Hauling at the dump! 💪🏽😂 What could have been just another exhausting dump run turned into another fun memory from this crazy journey.

This is the side of opening a restaurant you don’t always see — moving, lifting, cleaning, hauling, fixing, organizing…and a LOT of trips back and forth! 😂

But every truckload means we’re one step closer. 🇧🇷❤️

WE’RE MOVING! 🥹🇧🇷🌿🥩

What a journey this has been.

Our little restaurant in Downtown Chico became so much more than a place to eat. It became a place where friendships were made, stories were shared, celebrations happened, and our Chico community welcomed Brazilian food—and me—with so much love. ❤️

Seeing the sweet messages written on our windows made me emotional. Thank you, Downtown Chico, for being the place where this dream began.

But this is not goodbye… we’re growing! 🌱✨

Lili’s Brazilian is moving to our beautiful new home:

Apparently being a chef and opening a Brazilian Steakhouse wasn’t enough… now I’m sewing our uniforms too! 😂❤️

But THIS is the part of the journey I’m loving.

Learning new things. Making things with my own hands. Laughing. Meeting wonderful people. And watching every little piece of Lili’s Brazilian Steakhouse come together. 🥹🇧🇷

A huge thank you to Dan from Cathy’s for generously letting me use the sewing machine, to Terri for her guidance and patience teaching me, and to all the wonderful ladies in the classroom who were cheering me on! 😂🙌🏽❤️

I feel so much JOY building this dream.

❤️ A LOVE STORY FROM LILI’S TABLE… 💍🥹

A couple of years ago, this beautiful couple from my team got engaged, and I had so much fun helping organize the surprise here at Lili’s. 💍❤️

And now they are getting ready to celebrate their first wedding anniversary! 🥹🥂 How quickly life moves!

This is exactly why I always say that food is so much more than food. It is love, memories, celebrations and people coming together around a table. ❤️

As we prepare for our new chapter, I want to remind everyone of something very important:

🇧🇷 BUILDING LILI’S — DAY 5: GRATITUDE ❤️

Today wasn’t about inspections or equipment. Today was about PEOPLE. ❤️

Building this Brazilian Steakhouse has reminded me that no dream is built alone.

I’m incredibly grateful for the 3CORE team, especially Patty, who made time in an incredibly busy schedule to help save my day today. 🙏🏽❤️ And to Dan Zuno and Joana, thank you for continuing to believe in me and stand beside me.

I truly would not be able to do what I’m doing without the support of 3CORE. 🥹🙏🏽

And a very special thank you to Andrew, who showed up today ready to WORK 😂 — helping me prep the new restaurant for painting and supporting me through another crazy day of getting Lili’s ready.

Somehow after all that… he even treated me to a delicious dinner at Sofiz. ❤️

Apparently I’m opening a Brazilian Steakhouse AND I still found a little time for dating. 😂🥰❤️ Who knew?!

Today reminded me that success isn’t only about how hard we work.

It’s also about the people who show up beside us.

My heart is full tonight. 🥹❤️🙏🏽
