The Chicago Tribune chose Al's as the #1 Italian Beef sandwich in Chicago. We are so proud and honored to be listed alongside 19 other legendary beef stands. From everyone here at Al's Beef, we wanted to say "Thank You" to each and every one of you who has supported us over the last 82 years. We just created a sandwich. You made us a legend.

The sandwich starts with a heap of humble ingredients that are transformed by pure engineering into one of the meatiest and messiest sandwiches ever.
