Our position is simple: move the licensing process forward, provide a clear and transparent process, and ensure eligible businesses can access the opportunities available to them.

Building pathways to opportunity starts with investing in people. 🏗️

The Illinois Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program is now accepting applications for its sixth round of funding. Since launching in 2021, the program has awarded $70 million and served more than 7,000 Illinois residents.

Qualified organizations may apply for grants ranging from $150,000 to $550,000 to help prepare Illinois residents for careers in construction and the building trades.
