Today is crucial as many businesses are choosing to close and stand with our community across the country. As a family-owned restaurant, closing our doors isn’t something we can do — not because we don’t care, but because our team and their families depend on this place, just as we depend on them.

Taquerías Atotonilco was built by immigrants, for immigrants and for a community that knows the value of hard work, sacrifice and showing up for one another. Our kitchen is made up of parents, providers, dreamers and neighbors — people who deserve stability, dignity and support.

As we step into a new year, we want to take a moment to say gracias, 2025, for the memories, the moments, and the community that filled our tables and our hearts.

This year reminded us why Atotonilco is more than tacos. We celebrated traditions with our community ofrenda, fed concert crowds late into the night, shared countless meals — from everyday taco runs and lunch stops to catered gatherings and family celebrations on the weekends.

We saw strangers become friends over tacos, families gather across generations and Pilsen show up the way it always does — with heart, culture and pride.

As we ring in the New Year, here’s a quick heads-up on our schedule:

Wishing you a Christmas full of love, good food and moments that turn into the best memories. Thank you for showing up for us all year — for the taco runs, the late nights, the celebrations and the everyday visits that make this place feel like home.

Tonight, December 24, we’ll be closing early at 6pm and tomorrow we’ll be open with limited hours from 11:30am to 10pm.

We’ll be back December 26, fired up and ready with tacos, warmth and all the sabor you know and love until 3am 💛
