In 1995 two brothers began helping their mom, Pascuala, every Sunday make hand made tortilla tacos on Canal St. After many years of requests from family, friends, and their loyal customers on Canal St. The restaurant was named after their mothers' nickname to honor her hard work and skill that she taught them with the artisanal made tortillas that reminded people of their heritage back home. All food is made fresh daily from scratch and never frozen.
