With the Bears and Sox, we know success takes faith, patience… and occasionally a little divine intervention.

The Pope has the Vatican. I’ve got the tailgate. He tends to his flock. I tend to the hungry football fans! Both of us believe in bringing people together—and nobody’s leaving my “pit” hungry. 🔥🍖

What a great journey it's been!🪵🔥

Looking back through all these photos brings back some incredible memories with African Charcoal Company -the incredible team in Namibia, our incredible retail partners, the countless wins by the best group of competition bbq teams on the circut and most importantly, the amazing people🍖📸

This journey has been defined by the friends and families that invited African Charcoal into their backyards, block parties, restaurants, family gatherings and tailgates.

To every single person who has grabbed a bag of charcoal, cheered our progress, or shared fire and a bite along the way: thank you🥂💨

What a day with the Chicago Bears Tailgate Club!

We fired up the pits, cooked over live fire and brought the Bishop’s Pitmaster BBQ experience to Bears Nation—great food, great people and the kind of game-day energy that reminds me why I love doing this.

A HUGE thank you to our friends at Wild Fork Foods, and especially Dawn and the team at the Belmont & Western location, for helping us put some incredible proteins over the fire. Partnerships are about people first, and we’re grateful for the support.

And when Connor Burns from Barstool Chicago rolled up to the pits…well, things got even more interesting. 😂🔥 Always a good time when Connor is around!
