The Bears take on the Jets at 12PM, and we’re turning Chapel Street into your Sunday arvo footy spot. Grab your mates, pull up a seat, order something good from the kitchen, and settle in for every play, every yell at the telly, and hopefully plenty to celebrate 🐻

A little bit of Melbourne, a whole lot of Chapel Street, and now, a new season on the table 🍂🇦🇺

Our fall menu has arrived with the kind of food we love most: bold flavours, comforting plates, and dishes made for slowing down, sharing a table, and staying a little longer. From crispy Brick Chicken with herbs and garlic to sweet chilli Brussels sprouts and a proper Scotch Egg, every plate brings a little warmth to Chicago as the cooler days roll in.

But don’t get too comfy just yet. We haven’t shown you the whole menu. There are still a few beauties waiting in the wings, so consider this Part One.

Morning Ritual isn’t just about what’s on the plate ☕️🍳 It’s that first proper coffee of the day, brekkie made fresh, familiar faces walking through the door, and having a place where you can slow down before the day gets away from you. It’s inspired by the way mornings are meant to feel back home in Australia: relaxed, welcoming, and always better around a table 🇦🇺

Our NZ Lamb Rack has had its moment on the Chapel Street table, but with our fall menu change just around the corner, it’s almost time to say hooroo to this favourite.

New Zealand lamb is known for its beautiful tenderness and rich flavour, making this one of those dishes that doesn’t need to shout to make an impression. It also fits right into the story behind Chapel Street: bringing the flavours, food culture and laid-back spirit of our corner of the world to Chicago, one plate at a time.

At Chapel Street Cafe, ours starts bright and early at 6AM. The coffee starts pouring, brekkie hits the kitchen, fresh pastries are ready to go, and slowly, our little corner of Chicago starts waking up. Whether your morning ritual is a flat white before work, a croissant on the go, or sitting down for a proper brekkie before the day gets busy, we want Chapel to feel like your neighbourhood spot to start the day.

Our croissants have officially earned the Princess V seal of approval, courtesy of the owner’s daughter herself. Buttery, flaky, golden and apparently good enough for royalty. We reckon that says it all 🇦🇺✨
