Pride Parade Build Party No. 1: Sunday, June 14, 2026 – 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. It’s that time! Help us build, paint, staple, hot glue and construct pieces and decor for our AFC Pride Parade Float. Hosted at Michael’s place at 4239 S. Langley Avenue, Chicago.

Pride Build & Party Party! From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., we’ll have our final “Build” gathering. Then from 6 p.m. to midnight, we’ll have our Pre Pride Party. It’ll be the lasr day to put finishing touches on our AFC Pride Parade Float. When the clock strikes 6 p.m., we will celebrate Pride with food, drinks, entertainment and fun! Pride Day: At 9 a.m., folks will start to gather at the to-be-announced Pride Float starting location north of Boystown. Marchers need to gather at 10 a.m. The parade kicks off at noon. At the end of the Parade at Cannon north of Fullerton, marchers and float riders will dimantle the float and head north. The post-part plans are to meet at Hollywood Beach and gather (weather permitting) with the Spanish Language Club. BYOB and potluck.
