Some dreams make headlines… and some dreams make history.

I sat here flipping through a magazine spread of me and my daughter Brooklyn — two aprons, one vision, and a whole lot of heart — and it hit me all over again. We didn’t just run a business… we built a moment. We created jobs, community, joy, and a legacy that stretched farther than any storefront could.

And then I look at this lineup of wild, bold, unapologetically fun hot dogs — my own little “Hall of Franks” — and I can’t help but laugh. Because nobody was ready. I took a simple hot dog and treated it like a blank canvas. Art. Flavor. Personality. A whole vibe on a bun. Folks didn’t know what hit them… they just knew it was different.

But that’s the beauty of creation:
What starts as an idea becomes an experience.
What starts as a moment becomes a memory.
And what starts as a small spark becomes a legacy. 🔥👋🏾 Road Dogs

Four years of sweat, love, and national recognition.
And then — it was gone.

I fell hard. I needed time.
Time to breathe.
To grieve.
To recalibrate.

But the thing about true dreamers…
We don’t stay down.
We rebuild.
We rise.

And from that pulse — Frykies Famous Shortbread Cookie Fries was born.

And led by legacy — me and my girls, Brooklyn and Bailey.

I’m Tired! Y’all these last couple of months have been a fight beyond what you can imagine. Having to abruptly close our location due the management company’s refusal to extend our lease(even though we were one of the best independent restaurants there) but thats another story…I guess its just business! We’ve been dealing with so much behind the scenes just fighting for the dream! Entrepreneurship looks easy but trust me its not! I know giving up is not an option for me but hell sometimes I’m like this some straight bs 🤣! I’m not complaining just releasing. Sometimes a break and strong pivot is needed! I know one day I’ll look back on this journey and smile to say look at what you’ve preserved through to get to the other side! I always sing and talk about how you should keep going and I guess it’s my turn to hear the music lol! To all of our amazing Road Dogs have a wonderful day and as always Thank you for support throughout our journey! See ya soon!
