Traditional German Food, LLC Traditional German Food is trading with original German food products and merchandise. Since 1996 we have been an outdoor festival vendor within the U.S.

Traditional German Food, LLC is an Illinois and Colorado registered company whose main purpose is the trade of food and nonfood products between Germany and the U.S. Frieder Frotscher, a resident of Germany, is the sole owner and managing director. Since 1996, we have been a permanent vendor at the annual Christkindlmarket Chicago. Starting with a small stand, we now operate several sales booths i

n Chicago, Denver and other seasonal festivals and markets within the U.S. We are offering original German food products, German beer steins and other merchandise, most of which are imported from Germany. In order to represent the merchandise line even better, Frieder founded the dba German Steins & Souvenirs in 2014, which also has its own page and website.

Our sincerest thank yous to all customers at the Christkindlmarket Chicago! We are thankful for another great year at Daley Plaza, see you again in 2020!

And just like that, after 40 wonderful days, the Christkindlmarket Chicago is officially closed! We can't wait to welcome you back next year for our 25th Anniversary. Happiest of holidays, from our family to yours!

Since 1996, we have been a permanent vendor at the annual Christkindlmarket Chicago. Starting with a small stand, we now operate several sales booths in Chicago, Denver and other seasonal festivals and markets within the U.S.

We are offering original German food products, like Bratwurst, Currywurst, Leberkaese, Sauerkraut, homemade lentil soup, potato soup and our populaSoljanka soup, as well as original German potato pancakes with a variety of toppings.

In our Chocolate & Candy booth we offer chocolate covered fruits and cookies, marzipan products, chocolate crumble balls with rum flavor, fudge, a variety of gummy bears, baked apples and more .
