Open Friday July 3 for normal hours (7:30 AM - 3 PM). Saturday July 4 we are closed and will be at home playing videogames, lighting sparklers, and soothing our various cats and dogs. But the 61st Street Farmers Market is still happening so go get your veggies!

We’re refreshing our zine offerings and we want yours! If you’ve got a zine (broadly) related to our mission (supporting our community, building networks of nourishment, strength, and resilience for collective power) send us a proposal. Comics, narrative, poetry, weird stuff, political education all welcome.

Farmers Market season is almost here, and Build is hiring Saturday market staff!

We’re looking for window/register staff + barbacks who are:

Friendly, energetic, and great with customers

Able to keep lines moving with care and efficiency

Comfortable working closely in a fast-paced small space

Retail/customer service experience required

Barista or food prep experience a plus
Pay: $16/hr + tips

Perks: great breakfast, great coffee, and Saturdays at the best farmers market in the city.
