We came. We steeped. We graduated. 🎓🫖

We are officially graduates of The Hatchery Chicago’s Incubation Cohort, and what a ride it’s been.

We learned. We connected. We laughed. We were challenged. We sharpened the vision. And most importantly, we walked away better than we came.

Much love to The Hatchery Chicago, the instructors, mentors, partners and everyone who poured into us along the way. And a special salute to our fellow graduates. There’s something powerful about growing alongside other food and beverage entrepreneurs who believe in what they’re building just as much as we believe in what we’re brewing.

For 9TEA3, this wasn’t just about completing a cohort. It was another step in the journey of taking this Chicago born tea brand from the block to the boardroom…and wherever the cup takes us next.

We’re grateful for the experience.
Grateful for the people.
Grateful for the growth.

From SLAM and XXL to ESPN and the Chicago Sun Times. From The Poohprint with Derrick Rose to his latest work with Grandmaster Flash. And somewhere along that journey, we were blessed to honor him through Be The Miracle.

So running into Scoop at The Executives’ Club of Chicago while D Rose was talking business was already full circle.

Then he started talking about I Used to Love HERbal. 😂🌺

That made the moment even sweeter.

This Labor Day, we’re steeping in a piece of Chicago history.

Pullman. The labor movement. The Black men who helped define an era of luxury rail travel while fighting for dignity, better wages and respect of their own.

And somewhere in that history sits something near and dear to us…

The cup.

As a Black owned tea company born in Chicago, this story hits different.

Because there’s labor in every legacy. Hands that built something. People who carried something. Folks who opened doors they may never have gotten the opportunity to walk through themselves.
