One of our favorite full-circle moments. 🌱
The compost nourishing our greenhouse is now coming directly from WasteNot Compost, made from the biodegradable food waste we generate here at Eden and at Paramount Events.
Instead of ending up in a landfill, those organic materials are transformed into nutrient-rich compost that Peter mixes back into our greenhouse beds, helping grow the herbs, greens, and produce that make their way back into our kitchen.
This is what a circular economy looks like: keeping valuable resources in use, reducing waste, and giving nutrients back to the soil to grow more food. It’s one small part of our ongoing commitment to thoughtful sourcing, sustainability, and creating systems that benefit both our community and the environment. 🌿
