The original and only Restaurant & Pozoleria San Juan in the Chicago-land area. It is served in three different flavors: red, white, and green. All flavors of pozole are made from 100% fresh ingredients. White pozole is the traditional one. It has a subtle flavor. Red pozole is made with chile guajillo and spices. It can be spicy. Green pozole is made with pipian sauce. The sauce is made of pumpkin seed, chile, and other spices. The flavor may be mild spicy. All pozoles are served with pork or chicken meat in the soup. On the side, all pozoles come with chicharon (pork skins), tostadas (crispy tortillas), avocado, onions, limes, cabbage, and radishes. The specialty dish is served daily, freshly made. The menu also includes other delicious, traditional Mexican dishes.
