Momentum Coffee co-founder Tracy Powell shared how we didn't set out to open coffee shops.

We set out to create opportunities and bring amenities to underserved neighborhoods. When our original coworking model had to change, we leaned into coffee.

The result? We’ve built up to six locations and currently operate four spaces, keeping Chicago energized and connected.

Proof that if you stay true to your 'why,' your 'how' can always evolve.

We’re thrilled to announce that Abby Miller Jennings has been promoted to Assistant Operations Manager!

Abby came to us as a customer at our North Lawndale location — her neighborhood. Two years later, she’s worked at North Lawndale, Millenium Park, South Loop and Austin, supported our food incubator program, pop-ups, and everything in between. She shows up. She gets it done.

We love what happens when people find a space in their own community and decide to be part of building it. That’s Abby.

We’re proud to support her next step as a leader at Momentum Coffee. Congratulations! 🙌☕
