A little piece of Garfield Ridge history.

Long before today’s Mini Hut, this corner was already filled with cars, families, friends, and memories. And somewhere in all those years, generations of Chicagoans fell in love with that famous Mini Hut Butter Crust Chicken Don Engel created.

Some things change.

The cars change.
The streets change.
The building changes.

But the chicken? ❤️

That’s the part we brought back.

Today, Mini Hut is once again serving the Garfield Ridge community from the same neighborhood that helped make us who we are.

At Mini Hut, our chicken is made fresh to order—never sitting around under a heat lamp. That delicious butter-crust crunch takes about 20 minutes, but it’s worth the wait!

📞 Please call at least 20 minutes ahead.

During dinner hours and busy weekends, we recommend ordering 30–60 minutes ahead because we receive a high volume of orders.

And while you wait… did you know we also serve burgers, hot dogs, and Italian beef? 🌭🍔🥪 They’re usually ready in about 10 minutes—perfect for a tasty snack while your chicken cooks!

Fresh food takes a little time. Great food makes it worthwhile. ❤️
