Thank you everyone for being part of the journey.

Opening and operating 2d restaurant as a family-run business was never easy. There were many bumps, challenges, setbacks, and sleepless nights along the way—but the laughter, smiles, and memories shared by our guests made it all worth it.

Over the past five years, so many of you became more than customers to us. You became friends. You became part of our story and part of our family.

As bittersweet as this moment is, it’s hard to put into words the heartache of seeing our original Lakeview location come to a close. This little space was the beginning of everything for us.

But while this chapter is ending, we hope it is only the first of many chapters still to come.

Our dream has always been to bring the joy, creativity, and experience of 2d to more people, more cities, and more spaces down the road—and we’re excited to continue building toward that future.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all of the love and support throughout the years.

We hope to see you one more time before May 25 ❤️

During a recent trip to Okinawa, Japan, we discovered something we couldn’t stop eating.

At first glance, it looks like an onigiri.
Then you realize… it’s also a sandwich.
