In a previous life, Anna Ong was an accountant. Today, she’s the heart behind Anna’s Thai Kitchen, recently named 2025’s Best Thai Restaurant in Chicago.

Surprisingly, Anna isn’t a trained chef, but a rather considers herself a home cook who draws from her mother’s traditional recipes. Beyond the food, what stands out most is her warmth. For Anna, the most rewarding part of running a restaurant in Ravenswood is the connections she builds with the people that come through her door. She fosters an environment of inclusivity that extends to the menu's offerings, which includes vegetarian, vegan, halal and GF dishes.

Starting this week April 3rd, our Friday hours are:
