EasyEats Chewelah

EasyEats Chewelah Chewelah’s nutrient dense, pre-order, healthy foods TO-GO. Operating out of the EasyEats, LLC commercial kitchen (est. July 2026). Food that tastes good!

FOCUS: nutrient-dense foods that nourish one’s body through a balance of protein, carbohydrate, fiber, & healthy fats – aiding in good digestion & a proper utilization of calories. Food that is good for you! MENU: dairy-free, nutrient-dense, gluten-friendly, & mostly organic. COMMUNITY: seasonally, & when affordably available, we buy local produce/meat from Front Porch Farm & other Stevens County farmers/ranchers - a healthy, local economy is important too! DIFFERENCE: Soon, there will be an online order & pay option where customers will pre-order the Order-In-Advance Main Meals options online — food waste is diminished, loss of revenue is minimized, and menu costs are kept as low as possible for the hardworking people of our community. Because we use fresh, local produce, menu options vary and will be updated weekly each Monday.

** Please note: fresh-pressed juice, real fruit smoothies, veggie-laden salads, and assorted desserts can be ordered at the drive-thru window during business hours (Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday 11am-1:30pm + 4:30pm-6pm) — soon, pre-order options will be available for those items too! GLUTEN disclaimer: even though we provide a gluten-friendly (made w/out gluten products) menu, items cannot be guaranteed to be safe for those w/ food allergies/sensitivities since all foods are prepared a shared commissary kitchen that also bakes wheat-based products. Please exercise caution in your food choices.

Hey hey Chewelah -

Indeed the soft opening has been slow and steady. And very busy.

I run another business, a health education service, and August is my busiest month; so needless to say, opening a food business this time of year has been a challenge! However, I've learned a lot thus far, and in this short time EasyEats Chewelah has branched out into weekly meal preps with customized goals -- be it body-building and weight gain, be it nutrient density along with weight maintenance, or be it nourishment with weight loss -- EasyEats Chewelah is willing and able to work with specific health and nutrition objectives.

Hopefully September will bring the ability for me to open up food sales to the public! Until then, here are some recent meal preps.

((It's been pointed out to me that a few food prep businesses and/or personal chefs have popped up in the area -- please note that mine is a NETCHD certified commercial kitchen and I have health-related collegiate Bachelor of Science degrees, as well as other health/nutrition certification and background. I don't care who does what and how they earn their money -- I just care that I am legit and that I do the best I can with what I have while I am able. I am grateful for my friends, my customers, and my acquaintances who have my back and who trust in my business venture.))

* If you need to contact me, please do so via FB Messenger. I am a one-woman show so I will get to you asap!

Hey Chewelah -

Here’s a quick update regarding the recent opening of EasyEats Chewelah (EasyEats, LLC):

This is a pre-order, to-go meal/drink food business that specializes in nutrient-dense meals and fresh-pressed juicing — made with as much organic as cost-possible. All food/drinks are made in my sole-use, EasyEats, LLC, NETCHD-approved, commercial kitchen.

It’ll take a little getting used to because it’s a unique business model to this area.

-- My PRE-ORDER method maintains a “zero-waste” business component.

-- When FULLY OPEN, I’ll post that week’s MENU online — with a link to the Square account for order placement & payment.

-- For now, CONTACT is via FB Messaging.

As I do the background business hoopla and as I get used to the form and function of the commercial kitchen, EasyEats Chewelah continues to conduct a limited SOFT OPENING.

Please remember this is a one-woman business — I do everything, including fan placement in windows during summer heat.

It’s not all-access, nor public-facing, nor phone-in. It’s just a commercial kitchen, not a cafe. It’s not a food truck, though it’s about the size of one. This business model likely isn’t for everyone.

Nonetheless, thank you for your interest, encouragement, and patience. I look forward to serving you.

EasyEats Chewelah (EasyEats, LLC) is open! But it is a soft opening for a couple weeks:
(1) as I sort out how to move and shake in the new commercial kitchen space, (2) as I finish the background business hoopla, (3) and as I wait for some meal/drink packaging, etc. supplies to arrive.

This soft opening includes my "trial run" crew, members of Chewelah Jiu Jitsu, and a couple random folks I pick from the Followers of EasyEats Chewelah.

Almost ready to run full throttle! I look forward to serving you.

EasyEats Chewelah passed the health department's pre-opening inspection.

Whoop!Whoop!

There are just a couple more business items to sort before EasyEats Chewelah officially opens; but until then, please be advised and forewarned that (1) this is a one-woman wrecking ball sorta gig and I most certainly will continue to send the wrong people the wrong messages; (2) there's a chance I will not believe you are real and treat you like a scammer and hang up on you twice, ignore your texts, and then hold the phone up to AC/DC when you are relentless in contacting me (so, so sorry!); and the (3) future only knows what other creative non-professional acts I will commit in the running of this business.

I mean well, I have good intentions, and I have a servant's heart; but, I am forever 12-years old and I lean heavy into that when overwhelmed. Or hot. Or hungry. Or tired. Or excited.

Nonetheless, I look forward to serving you!

After several years and so much freaking work, planning, bumps, bruises, excitement, fear, anticipation, roadblocks, energy, dread, hope, encouragement, caulking, bleeding, sore muscles, tired brain, ups, downs, scrubbing, and assorted glues, the commercial kitchen completion is 'bout here. Appliances were delivered. Today.

The opening of EasyEats is so very close.

On that note, a friend who's seen the years-long struggle recently said,

"Dang girl, this is like giving birth! You need a ‘commercial kitchen-opening shower!’ It's not just me, other people will wanna support you too."

Sooooo… if that rings true for you, and you wanna come alongside me via a commercial kitchen gift, I have a GIFT REGISTRY at Amazon. The banner is some funkyAss green & blue plaid rectangle. *I'll share the link in the first comment below.*

Obviously mid-May came and went and EasyEats is not open.

Due to a last minute construction fiasco (bad!) that took a couple weeks to rectify, followed by an opportunity of a lifetime for travel (excellent/good!) - opening has shifted about a month. Now my adjusted goal is mid-June.

Thank you for your patience and interest and cheers from the sidelines! I look forward to serving you.

Mid-May is the planned opening of EasyEats Chewelah, based in its very own (soon to be health department approved) commercial kitchen. Until then, here is Part 2 of a mini-series that tells you a little about me, the owner & food prep entrepreneur of EasyEats, and the story behind EasyEats:

Part 1 told about my collegiate degrees, certification, and assorted credentials in health and nutrition, etc. Now for a bit of the “why” behind the food business.

As a kiddo, my initial food lessons involved the navigation of insulin and carbohydrates since age 9 due to being a Type 1 Diabetic — I learned how to not die with/without certain foods.

On a ranch in Montana during adolescent summers, I was taught meat and potatoes meal prep at my grandma’s side — I learned how to cook, what we now call “comfort food,” for hungry people.

During and after college, I studied food and the body — I learned what about athletes and everyday people and what the body requires to meet its multidisciplinary (biological, physiological, physical, etc.) nutritional needs.

Then over the years I fine-tuned my own diet to combat assorted health issues. I've been vegan the majority of my life, but within the last 8 years I added bone broth to my diet to help heal a debilitating gut issue. So as a result, nowadays I no longer eat just to survive, I eat to thrive.

All in all, teaching others to clean up their diet has been terrific. But when the client need/desire shifted from education to “please just make the meals for me,” my business model shifted from educator to food and meal prep entrepreneur.

In essence I turned my mindset about food from a survival “have to do it this way” into a passionate “want to” make the nutrient-dense, good-for-you food look and taste fabulous -- as it nourishes the body -- not only for me, but now for others as well.

(as we wait for opening day, please stay tuned for more on the series...)

Opening is on schedule for sometime in May! Until then, here's part 1 of a mini-series that tells you a little about me, the owner & food prep entrepreneur of EasyEats:

Since my background in the health and wellness field is vast and varied, I bring a unique skillset to meal-making and food prep. I have a collegiate major degree in Education/School & Community Health Education; minors in Athletic Training, Physical Education; along with post-collegiate studies in alternative medicine, nutrition; and a certification as a Diabetes Education Paraprofessional.

In addition to a Women's Health Education Series that I created, implemented, and taught right out of college, I have taught how to make healthy swaps in the kitchen in order to make nutrient dense meals, how to create a healthy eating plan to meet health/wellness/fitness goals, and how to make green smoothies (before it became a popular).

As a Type-1, insulin-dependent diabetic (diagnosed at age nine), a determined focus on health and fitness always has been a part of my life. I also go into several WA schools and teach the teachers, nurse, coaches, and other staff a state-mandated course on scholastic life with students who have diabetes.

All that to say, not only do I know how to develop/adapt recipes that provide high nutrients in a balanced manner to help maintain blood sugar levels, but I do it in a satisfying way that tastes good and fuels the body.

(stay tuned for more on the series...)
