All cards were thrown on the table Aug 2012 as The Public House took center stage on Spike TV's reality show "Bar Rescue" with host Jon Taffer. In one week, Taffer and his team of experts gave the old Black Sheep Pub a much needed facelift and sparked motivation in its dedicated staff. Our management team has since embraced a new menu with German/Irish influence. Certified at the Guinness Brewery in Ireland, we at the Public House are proud to serve the perfect pint of Guinness. Credited as being the official Guinness headquarters in Southern Ohio, we provide a glass as a souvenir when you experience the perfect pour. Our staff has perfected many combinations of Guinness that you are sure to enjoy. Our signature drinks have a blend of Bushmills Irish Whiskey to create classics like the Bushmills Apple Pie, German Chocolate Martini and many other perfectly balanced drinks. Our extensive menu includes pub favorites like gourmet pizza, sandwiches, steak, sausage and burgers. Come in today and experience our extensive, carefully crafted drink menu, outstanding facility and excellent service. We guarantee you will have an all-around satisfying pub experience!
