Today, May 3rd, is the 54th anniversary for Duneland Pizza. Yesterday‘s announcement on Facebook about that by Danee has had a tremendous response. I want to thank all of you for the many memories and congrats that you shared. Being in business for 54 years would not have been possible without the support of my family, my friends, my amazing crew members over those years, and you, our loyal customers.
I especially want to thank my daughter, Danee, for her many decades of dedication to the pizzeria and working by my side. Especially, six years ago when Covid hit all of us so hard, and shortly after that, when I became a full time caregiver for my wife. Danee basically kept the business going. As most of you know last year, I transferred ownership of the pizzeria to her, and with the help of her kids, my grandkids, they will be keeping the dream alive.
I still will be around and helping out and doing what I can so be sure and say hello when you stop by.
