☀️ GOOD MORNING FROM GEAUGA WEST ROTARY.

We started this morning on a more somber note with the news of the passing of longtime Rotarian Keith Werbeach.

Keith joined Geauga West Rotary in 2006 and served our club in several roles over the years, including as Club President in 2016–2017. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone in the Rotary community who knew him. ❤️

Today’s speaker is fellow Rotarian Josh Sens, who graciously stepped up at the last minute to share a little show-and-tell about “Girls Save the World,” involving two Rotary districts in Dallas.

That’s something I appreciate about Rotary. Some mornings are about service projects, some are about learning something completely new, and some remind us of the people who have given years of their time to the club and their community.

A little fellowship, a little education, and today, a moment to remember one of our own.

And while we’re handing out appreciation… can we talk about Silver Skillet in Chesterland for a minute? 🍳🔥
They cater our weekly Rotary meetings, and frankly, they have NO BUSINESS making Wednesday morning meetings taste this good. 😂 Week after week they keep a room full of Rotarians very well fed, which may actually be the secret to maintaining a functioning service organization.
If you’re local and somehow haven’t eaten at Silver Skillet yet, FIX THAT.
Seriously. Go hungry. Leave happy. These folks take great care of us every single week, and they deserve some love from the community they’re feeding.
