Growing up in a big Italian family along with our brother Tom we always remembered going to Na
nny and Pop-pop’s house on Sunday for an amazing Italian dinner filled with great food, stories and love. Our time together eating was the glue that held our crazy family together. No matter the disagreements during the week, rough weeks at school or work, we always had Sundays! We can still smell the gravy (sauce) cooking as we pulled up to the front door. We wouldn’t eat all day in hopes of filling our belly’s with Nanny’s amazing spaghetti, meatballs, chicken parmesan…it was an all out feast! With our grandparents gone it was very important to all of us to carry on the traditions and we hope our customers get a glimpse of all the great food we had the opportunity to enjoy! We are fortunate to still have our Mom and Dad to help with this journey. You will find them in either our Raleigh or new VA locations always with a smile and warm heart. They truly want us to be successful because they believe in our dream to serve local communities with family dinner time that unfortunately isn’t celebrated like it once was. We have a true at home feel in our restaurant where you are always welcome and spoken to and most importantly thanked for your continued support as we continue out this legacy. As my Nanny and Pop-Pop used to say “Mangia, Mangia, eat, eat!!!”
