We put out the call, and our Chester Junction family showed up in a BIG way! Despite the drizzle, our Chester Junction Walkers laced up their shoes and completed a two mile walk in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Between the funds raised at Flites for the Fight, Chester Junction’s sponsorship, and the generosity of our walkers and donors, we raised OVER $8,000! 🎉
This is what happens when a community comes together for something bigger than itself. Every dollar, every step, and every person who showed up helped make a difference. Together, we can accomplish SO much more than we ever could alone! 💪💗
Today’s walk was especially meaningful. We were joined by Karel Jones, a breast cancer survivor, and Ashley Seay, who is currently fighting her own battle and came out to support the cause. Others walked in loving memory of family members and friends they’ve lost. Every person had a reason to be there, and every step carried meaning.
Seeing survivors, fighters, families, friends, and supporters come together was a beautiful reminder of the strength found in community. No one has to face this fight alone. 💕
