A seasoned trucker pulls his rig into the Route 63 Travel Plaza on a Wednesday, walks up to the counter, and groans, "Give me the strongest coffee you've got."

The waitress pours him a mug of sludge, looks at the calendar behind the counter, and asks, "What's the matter, buddy? Midweek slump getting to you?"

The trucker shakes his head and says, "Nah, it's not the week. I pulled into this exact spot last Wednesday, parked my rig, went inside to grab a pie, and came out to find three stray cats had somehow climbed into the cab and started arguing over who gets to drive!"

The waitress raises an eyebrow. "Did you kick 'em out?"

"Are you kidding?" the trucker sighs. "The tabby was handling the steering wheel better than the guy who cut me off on Interstate 90, so I let him finish the shift. I'm just hoping he remembered to renew my commercial license!"
