Id love to be able to serve our Chester County when the cold comes back in once a week with either hot cocoa or, hot coffee and a sandwich weekly. We want to do more and have great ideas but would love to have more volunteers to help us grow. We have strong hope for our little communty to grow and bond. Friendly reminder, we will have free to go meals for Chester County residents July 25th from 1pm to 3pm. Can pick up at 511 Bratton St. Chester SC 29706. Pasta salad, baked beans, roll and chocolate pudding. Do not have to call to pick up. Curbside pick up. Any questions, call Elaine Fortune 803-630-6109. If like to donate foods for the pantry or be a volunteer for events, please let us know. We do take frozen meats, microwave meals, cheese, non perishables, hygiene, first aid items. We serve 55 families each month including those families that are homeless. We will be having another Christmas event in Dec of a hot meal and gifts for children from Secret Santa. There will be a updated post later on in November, location, date and time and to set appts to come to sign up. If you would be interested in helping for that event, we would like to start getting volunteers info so we can contact you and keep in touch for that event. We appreciate all of our volunteers from last year's events that made it a great success. This year we are getting a step ahead to make plans sooner to be prepared ahead of time. Hello. We just want the community to know that we love helping others. When we see you are abusing many others, on group after group and saying you didnt receive your foods and telling many different stories, we have to stop helping them. There are a few that we did have to block because of issues saying they didnt get foods or signing up many others places for events such as Christmas and get mad cause they didnt get what they wanted on their wish list or tell persons picking up foods to take items like our large cooler when it is marked not to take it and or making fibs and changing stories over and over, we do not support those making post same day or sending message that their food didnt get delivered by Uber when Uber drivers come back and show proof that it was sent and need more foods and or get upset with us because we cant help with bills, rooms for rent. We do not have funds to help with bills, we greaty apologize for not having the money to help with those bills. There are several agencies that can help Chester County residents for those. A friendly reminder, if you are a Chester County residents and in need of food or hygiene please call 803-630-6109. We are located at 511 Bratton St. Chester SC. Can pick up every two weeks. We have non perishables, frozen meat, canned meats, cheese, farm eggs not washed. Will provide you with items to make breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. Please let us know how many in family, how many kids. We are pretty flexible on pick up times to even after dark for families that has work schedules and cant make it but at later times in the evening if need. 7 days a week. If like to donate items please call us anytime to set time to drop off. Thank you so much . We had to take down the pantry cabinets along the road and would like to build a small room on our porch if anyone has any plywood available and white siding. We can hold off on installing the wiring for a light and receptacle to have a freezer inside of it for now but if you have any items for that like conduit line, 20amp receptacle, 10-2 wire, we would be able to install that also we would be greatly appreciated. We did not have a hot meal this June but we will be July 25th from 1pm to 3pm. Will be in to go trays, curb side pick up. Foods picked up is curb side pick up as well. Hello, we have two seperate families in Chester County in need, both families can pick up. One in need of a AC and they have children or a fan or something to help them cool home. The other fanily is a couple in need of a fridge badly, any size, electric. Hello . Due to the pantry cabinets were not in that great of shape and also were being used as a drop off and pick up other than foods, we had to remove the cabinets. This does not mean we are not helping collect and pass out foods. We put a sign in front of house. We are fully committed in keeping our community safe. You can call us, knock on door, or message this page. We are very flexible on times to pick up, even as late as 9pm if need. We understand families have children, work, schooling events to not having a ride and have to wait for whem someone can bring you by. Can come pick up foods or hygiene every two weeks. Thank you to the person who brought foods by. Means so much to the families that are struggling to make ends meet. If your family hadn't been by to pick up a food box in the last two weeks please call 803-630-6109 to set up appt to pick up. Please let us know if you have any children and adults and how many so we can ensure we provide enough for your family. We are located at 511 Bratton St. Chester SC 29706. We do have meat and also snacks for children plus hygiene items and size 4 diapers. If you are in need of other home items like foil, dish washing items, plastic wrap, can always feel free to ask as we got some donated. We also have new sippy cups and new baby bottles and ladies shoes available. We are pretty flexible with pick up or drop of of donations times
