Long before there was a La Hacienda, there was our grandma’s kitchen
The recipes we serve today weren’t created for a restaurant. They were passed from one generation to the next, one meal at a time
When we traveled back to our family’s hometown in Jalisco, our grandma shared something that meant more to us than any recipe ever could. She told us that her greatest joy is seeing her children and grandchildren continue the tradition she started.
For our family, this has never been just about food.
It’s about honoring where we came from, preserving the traditions we were raised on, and making sure the next generation carries them forward and that people in the Hampton Roads get to experience Mexican food the way we do on the daily.
Every plate we serve is our way of saying thank you to the generations before us. This is where our story begins.
