Wow… I don’t know where to start. If you have been following me then chances are you know my story. This all started with an idea. What if I could turn my dream into a reality… what if life is more than sitting behind a desk…what if all I have to do is start.

Every day I wake up and feel like I need to pinch myself. I really get to bake bread all day and provide for my family and my community while doing it. I really get to provide jobs and financial security for the people that work for me. We REALLY get to create with our hands and our hearts and share that love with our customers.

Today after 12 hours of baking, packing, talking with guests, I decided to get some delicious Panda Express and in it was a fortune cookie. “Make your dreams a reality”. I teared up a little… it was perfect. Because today my dreams did become a reality.

4 years ago TOP KNOT started in a very similar way. I was eating lunch at my corporate hell job and opened a fortune cookie. Each day thinking, what if I just quit and chased this bakery idea. And that day I got a fortune that said “all things come to him who goes after them”. It felt like the universe was speaking to me. I never looked back.

THANK YOU to all of our customers, to my team, to my partner Kelli Kojnok , to my wife Whitney Fentress Webber . To everyone who made this possible.

Now let’s take over the world.

4 days until open! I am so thankful for my team. We have come this far, now comes the fun part. See you Friday!
