As we get closer to July 6th my mom (Christy) will be celebrating her 48th Birthday 🎂 🎉 . ❤️

For the last 7 years, every birthday has been another year that she's fought so incredibly hard to be here. Each year has been a gift, but this past year has been the hardest one yet. Through every appointment, every treatment, every setback, and every victory, she continues to show a strength that amazes all of us.

I want to make this birthday extra special and remind her just how loved she is.

Hey friends,
I’m sharing mom wish list again for things that will help her with her mobility and hygiene. They are having a hard time finding a CNA that will beable to help give mom a bath. If you know a CNA/Nurse aid that works for home health or private duty please let me know!!

I’ve added disposable wash clothes on her wish list so she can at least wash off as well.

Hey friends!
We go on Tuesday to get the results for mom’s Echo, MRI and PET Scan. Please continue to cover her in prayers, pray the chemo is working to stop the spread as well as shrink what’s currently there.

Someone asked for me to have mom make a grocery list, so I had her make a Walmart list of this thinks they need and that are easy to cook. I’m going to post the e list here as well as her Amazon wish list for the other things that can help her be more independent.

She appreciates each of you that continually pray for her and the ones that have sent her things. Everything had truly been a blessing🩷

Hey friends 👋🏼
Just giving an update on mom 💕
Over the last few weeks she has had alot of swelling that is believed to be coming from the steroids. The swelling has decreased her mobility drastically. They are working on lowering her dose on the steroids to hopefully improve the swelling so that she can get her mobility back. She struggling to walk, go up/down steps, getting up and down from chairs. Hopefully the lowering of the steroids her strength and mobility will improve quickly. Since they started lowering the steroids the excessive diarrhea has come back, which has been extremely difficult for her with having trouble getting up/down and walking.
She will go Friday 5/22 for a Brain MRI and Saturday 5/23 for her PET Scan.
I’m asking specific prayers that both test will show improvement. As well as that her mobility will improve so that she feels better and so that she is more comfortable walking.

I have listed her Amazon wishlist down below again. She’s added a few items to help her with mobility and getting around. There’s also a few things she’s added to help with her independence on being able to do things . She’s also added some grocery cards as well as financially she’s just having a rough time.

Does anyone happen to have a lift recliner they would like to sell?
Mom is having a really hard time getting up and down, and walking. Her current couch is reclining but she has a hard time getting it back down. She has been sleeping on the couch with the recliner for weeks due to having a hard time sleeping in the bed.
Financially she is struggling so buying a new one just isn’t an option.
Would prefer to find one from someone we know rather than buying off one man’s junk
