We wanted to remind our vendors that the only contact person should be SOFIS TACOS
This Sunday we had a vendor that signed up for our market through someone else. They were scammed for $40. This scammer took a screenshot of our event and posted it somewhere else asking for a registration fee of $40. We can not prevent evil people from doing this unfortunately. We are a very small town market, but apparently we are also targeted by scammers.
Please don’t send anyone any money. Our event registration fee is only $5 per market, and we use that to pay our annual permits.
Going forward we will not be taking any vendors fees through Zelle, Venmo, or any cash apps.
As for the vendor that was scammed, please know that we would never turn you away. We are glad you accepted our invitation to stay and we hope you had a good day of sales.
