What a crazy week! Bought a new to me couch, had a weird experience at the beauty school, reorganized all my items that I have couponed over the last few months, and baked for LINDZSOSWEET! New items hit the shelves! Edible cookie dough bites, oatmeal raisin cookies, vanilla maple icecream, molasses cookie icecream sandwiches! She was also crazy busy baking and prepping. Oh and she has veggies! Cukes, zucs, sum squash, potatoes, cabbage, green beans! Cant make it to her store? Come see both of this July 25th! Double the trouble, double the goods!

Harper and I will be dragging butt, as we will be at the Princess concert in Bangor the night before, but we will make sure to have plenty of fudge to bring to the Gardiner area Saturday at Weston's Meat Market Farmers Market!

Stressed is dessert spelt backwards. This is a fair fudge flavor only. Been frozen in my deep freezer since a failed fair in may. Pulled it out to potentially share with coworkers today, but decided that I was too hungry, too stressed and it was just too good to share with them-and yes, i ate it all in one day, i am not ashamed lol. I am very happy it didnt sell, but very sad that it didnt sell, even when marked down to $4 from $7. You guys dont know what you missed. So smooth, just the right amount of marshmallow and almonds. Perfection! But, now that I have you drooling, you need to wait til craft fair season 🤣 and if i hadn't have frozen and thawed it out myself, I never would have known it wasnt freshly made. That is how nice it froze, thrown into my deep freezer-just the way it is

3 years ago today, Harper was in a state pageant. She only was in this state pageant because she had won first place in a local pageant a few months before hand. The director had given me the heads up that Harper may possibly place 1st and if she did, it was required for her to go to states. She knew i was a single mom and she knew states was a lot of money-a $375 registration fees upfront for instance. I sucked up my pride, asked her grandmother for some help, if she won. She agreed. I told the director to continue and Harper won 1st for her age division. Her grandmother sponsored the $375, but then I had to come up with a way to buy all the dresses, shoes, two nights in a hotel/food, a donation item, tickets to the pageant, etc etc. A small trip to disney as i now describe it. We started by homemade peppermint patties, then went to the pb fudge you all love and molasses cookies. We finally hit our end goal! But, my co workers didnt want me to stop baking for them and here we are! A little over 3years later! Although Harper does not do pageants anymore, all (most)money is now set aside and put into her savings! I say most because she does get to occasionally spend it on something that I dont think she needs, usually those silly viral toys. Thank you to every single one of you that have supported us from day one and those that we have met along the way! Summer is a little slower, but i will be posting more once school starts back up.
