Last week we had the privilege of supporting the incredible men and women working to fight the Sage Creek Fires.
We were asked just a couple of days ahead of time if we could help provide lunches for emergency responders, and of course, we said yes. Over the course of the week, our team prepared 720 lunches and 1,440 sandwiches, along with fresh fruit and vegetables and high-protein snacks to help keep these hardworking responders fueled during some incredibly long and difficult days.
We couldn’t be more proud of our staff for stepping up, working hard, and making it happen on such short notice. It was truly an all-hands-on-deck effort, and we were grateful for the opportunity to contribute in any way we could.
We also want to give a very special thank you to our local Franz Bakery, who generously donated the majority of the bread used for these lunches. We are so grateful for businesses in our community that are willing to step up and help when they’re needed.
Most of all, thank you to all of the firefighters, support crews, and everyone else who has been working tirelessly to protect our communities. We were honored to play a small part in supporting you. ❤️
