Jjajangmyeon {Black Noodles}

Wheat noodles, cabbage, onions, zucchini, scallions, garlic, sesame seeds, pickled radish, and one important ingredient that makes it stand out: Chunjang, or black bean paste.

Not to be confused with the black beans you see in Mexican restaurants, it’s made from soybeans and makes a very staple Korean sauce. It’s savory, a little sweet, and very umami.

Like many of our dishes, this is a Han Mi twist on traditional Korean comfort food. A good dish to try for folks who aren’t looking for heat in their meal, or anyone who just wants to try something different.
