Rock River Café is opening this weekend for the winter season. Winter hours will be 11am-7pm Saturday and Sunday, except for Martin Luther King Jr weekend and Presidents' Weekend when we will also be open on Monday 11am-7pm.

Now hiring at The North Farm at UPREC!

The North Farm Production Assistant, under direct supervision of the Farm Manager, will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of farm facilities, vegetable production and harvest. The Assistant will help the Manager conduct variety trials on various vegetable crops both in a hoophouse and in the field.

Education and experience in a relevant field is required. The individual must have a strong work ethic, have a passion for sustainable agriculture, and be able to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.

The position is temporary (not to exceed 8 months, starting April 1) and compensation is based on experience. On-site housing is offered. Please provide a resume, three references, and a cover letter explaining how your education, skills and experience make you a strong candidate for this position.
