Fresh cranberries are here and will soon be ready for your kitchen! 🙌❤️🍂 I took a four-hour round-trip ride today to Rochester, MA to get these berries right off the vine for you guys! My annual cranberry harvest almost didn’t happen this year due to a lack of communication/response with my usual bog that I get them from, but I am so incredibly grateful to have found another bog with absolutely beautiful berries, whose family was able to help me accomplish this for this season.
Now, the real fun begins. I’m currently sitting down to sort through these massive totes and gather the best berries to package up. While it might look like a tedious chore to some, sorting berries is deeply nostalgic and therapeutic for me. It completely clears my mind, slows me down, and brings back sweet memories from my younger years of living on the Cape and hanging out/working on the bogs. These aren't grocery store cranberries, they are freshly picked right off the vine and hand-sorted. You can't get any fresher than this!
I will have quart bags of freshly sorted cranberries available for sale starting tomorrow! They are perfect for freezing, baking, making fresh juice, sauce, jam, stuffing, infusing, holiday cooking, etc.
