Explore our current Passport Menu: Amalfi Coast!
Our chefs created this light and flavorful pasta dish: Coastal Tagliatelle. Egg noodles are tossed with seared shrimp and grilled fennel in a lemony butter sauce. Herbed breadcrumbs provide the finishing crunch.

It’s that wonderful time of year again: local tomato season! And that means Local Tomato Gazpacho is back on the menu, topped with some crunchy diced cucumber, garlic croutons, and Spanish olive oil.

We are getting loads of flavorful beauties from Whisper Hill Farm in Scottsville and Pleasant Pastures in Farmville, VA. 🍅

Explore our Passport Menu: Amalfi Coast!

Located just south of Naples and Rome, the cuisine of the Amalfi Coast is built around fresh seafood plucked from the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Gulf of Salerno.

We’re serving our Fish of the Night as the famous coastal Zuppa di Pesce with mussels, Atlantic shrimp, flaked salt cod, fennel, and a delicate and flavorful white wine & tomato broth.

PROMOTE HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS
SUPPORT THE ONE LOVE FOUNDATION

Hey Fans! Max Wooten, Ken’s son and heir to the Orzo throne, will be running the NYC Marathon this Fall on behalf of the One Love Foundation, an organization dedicated to educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships in order to end relationship abuse.

Founded in memory of Yeardley Love, a University of Virginia student who was tragically killed by her ex-boyfriend, the organization creates films, workshops, and educational programs used in schools, universities, and communities nationwide. Its mission centers on teaching people to recognize the signs of relationship abuse early and empowers them to build healthier connections throughout their lives.

Hey Fans!  It’s that time again, so grab your passport and travel with us as we embark this time to the Amalfi Coast!

Originally settled by the Romans who built villas along this dramatic coastline, the Amalfi Coast was once one of Italy’s great maritime republics alongside Venice and Genoa. A devastating storm destroyed the port of Amalfi in 1343 reducing it to a collection of sleepy fishing villages. That is until the 1850s when the coast road was completed which brought many travelers and eventually celebrities to the area. Since then the Amalfi Coast has become one of Italy’s great tourist destinations.

Located just south of Naples and Rome, the cuisine of the Amalfi Coast is built around fresh seafood plucked from the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Gulf of Salerno. The Amalfi Coast is also known for its production of lemons which thrived on the steep terraced hillsides and in the volcanic influenced soils of nearby Mt. Vesuvius. These lemons became an economic lifeline for the region after the storm of 1343 and are the inspiration for the regional beverage, Limoncello.

Our chefs offer this exciting menu to showcase the sparkling flavors of the sea and the fresh summer produce of central Virginia.  We hope that you’ll stop by and be transported.
