Well… this biscuit is staying in the oven a little longer. 🧈

We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our September biscuit class. Sometimes schedules don’t rise quite the way biscuit dough does.

Don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye. We’re already planning to bring it back when we can give it the attention (and butter) it deserves.

Thank you for all the excitement and support. We’ll let you know as soon as we have a new date. Until then, you’ll just have to settle for eating our biscuits instead of learning to make them. ❤️

Good. We’re hiring.

Mockingbird is looking for a Chef de Cuisine who can create incredible food, lead an awesome team, stay cool when the tickets are flying, and still have a sense of humor at the end of the night.

We don’t care nearly as much about framed diplomas as we do about creativity, leadership, work ethic, and treating people well. We are looking for someone to help lead our kitchen alongside chef/co-owner who still loves being on the line.

That’s what this one is. My grandmother’s biscuit recipe, made fresh in our kitchen every day — and this September, I’m teaching it, hands-on, right here at Mockingbird. 💚
