Today, we are reaching out with a heavy heart to share some challenging news and to ask for your support for a cause that is deeply important to us.
As you may know, Cantina 1511 has been a beloved fixture in the Charlotte community since 2004. It was more than a restaurant; it was a family and a home-away-from-home for both our dedicated team and our cherished patrons.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances including significant tax debts, unpaid vendor bills, and internal mismanagement left by the previous president, Cantina 1511 has abruptly closed its doors. This unexpected closure has left our devoted staff—many of whom have been with us for years—suddenly without employment, unpaid wages, and in a very vulnerable situation.
That's why we have launched a GoFundMe campaign: to support the Cantina 1511 family during this incredibly tough time.

We are writing to you with a heavy heart and want to share some important information about today's operation. Sometimes, life takes an unexpected turn, and today is such a day. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to announce that Cantina 1511 will not be opening for service today.

We understand that many of you had planned to enjoy our flavors and ambiance, and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Please remember, as tough as they might be, these moments are temporary. We're already looking forward to greeting you with a warm 'Hola!' and serving up your favorite dishes as soon as possible.
